AI for all: 5 playful prompts to start today

Forget TikTok: 2025 is all about AI trends

Yes, we get it. It’s easy to put AI on the same pile as technology, trades and finance – a world that doesn’t always roll out the red carpet for women.

Grab your Oscar-worthy gown because the robots just sent you a gold-plated invite. That’s right. Synchroised TikTok dances were so last month; the latest trend is AI-generated dolls.

There’s a serious lesson behind this silliness. If you’ve stayed on the sidelines, there’s now a reason to get off – one that comes in a cute box with various accoutrements. So, while this trend reaches (has reached?) its inevitable peak, we thought we’d share five fun AI prompts to play with right now.

But first, a few caveats…

It’s not all fun and games. AI is forcing conversations that should have been happening since the typewriter took over.

Water: Robots eat energy like a Hungry, Hungry Hippo, and there’s a strong argument against “killing a tree” in the name of frivolity.

Ethics: When it comes to AI ethics, there are a range of grey areas – from IP and copyrights to the global redistribution of wealth.

Our response: Women are already falling behind at the dawn of this new era. Estimates have us in less than a third of AI roles – a problematic gap for an industry moving at light speed. We need diverse brains grappling with ethics, laws, environmental impacts and norms – to achieve that, more women need to engage.

Hot or Bot

Some Powrsuiters have swiped right on a few robots – good on you for playing the field. But if you’re a first-timer, start simple with a free ChatGPT account. Go on; we’ll wait. It’ll take you 10 seconds; then, you can try each prompt as you go. Ready? Time to Bot-n-Roll! (Yes, AI helped there).

1. Make your own doll

There are two reasons why we love this trend:

One: You’ll learn how different instructions change the outcome, which is what prompting is all about. It may be easy to upload a pic of yourself, but challenge yourself to ditch the selfie and describe what you want instead.

Two: You know how much we love personal branding. Even an elevator pitch can’t capture someone as perfectly as an Engineer Doll with a hard hat, clipboard and bright pink Stanley cup. Our dolls? Your feedback shows they’re missing big earrings, bold lipstick and Powrsuits.

Once you’ve finished yours, send it to us. Then try your kids, partner, or friends. You’ll risk being yelled at for misrepresentation, but you’ll also learn how to tell AI what you want.

PROMPT:

Make a picture of a 3D action figure toy, named [name]. The figure has [blonde, black, brunette] hair, [light, medium, dark, olive, freckled] skin, and is wearing [describe the outfit, glasses, hat etc]. The style is [relaxed, professional, fun], with a [friendly smile, serious frown, interested expression]. Make it a cute cartoon toy style like one sold in stores.

Make it look like it’s being displayed in transparent plastic blister packaging. The packaging design is minimalist, [pale pink, bright blue, beige], cardboard colour. Also, add some supporting items next to the figure, like a [smartphone, clipboard, coffee cup, labrador puppy].

At the top of the packaging, there is a large writing: “[name]” in white text, then below it “[job]”

2. Pull from your Pantry

We’re travelling a lot over the next few weeks, so we have been playing chicken with our pantries. If you’re running low on ingredients, hate food waste, or love a new recipe, pop your ingredients in ChatGPT, along with the time and effort you have available, and ta-da! You’ll be eating like a queen.

Note: This exact prompt resulted in a One-Pan Chicken, Corn & Egg Skillet – we would link to it, but the robot made it up on the spot.

PROMPT:

I have [list your ingredients: 2 eggs, flour, canned corn, 1 chicken breast, 1 tomato, bacon and some herbs and spices]. What meal can I make [list constraints: in one pan in 20 minutes or less]?

3. Get a summary of Simran Kaur’s book

Last week, finance guru Sim announced that she supports AI stealing her book. If it’s a way to make finance more accessible, she’s all in. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t support her work, though – buy a copy of her book (complete with Nat’s endorsement), listen to her podcast, or follow her on LinkedIn.

PROMPT:

Create a 2-page summary of Simran Kaur’s book, Girls that Invest.

4. Start something you’ve been putting off

Been procrastinating on an email, doc, project or plan? Ask AI how to prompt, and it will tell you (very meta!).

PROMPT:

How do I best prompt for a [project plan, email, slide deck]?

5. Review your LinkedIn profile

Your LinkedIn profile is more important than ever. But if you can’t find time to craft (or update) a compelling and concise summary of yourself, get a bot to do it.

PROMPT:

This is my current LinkedIn [headline, summary, experiences]: [copy and paste from LinkedIn]. Edit it to [better convey my experience, sound more approachable, position myself for speaking gigs].

30 second action:

Sign up to ChatGPT and try one prompt. Bonus points if you share it with us!
